Briefly describe the innovative project, product, or initiative (100 Words)

As Dijet we introduced super finishing cutter which eliminated Recut of the Die, usage of Polish papers and Grinding stones,pencil grinders etc., where end users can directly go for lapping and die goes for assembly.
We introduced shoulder milling(EXSAP & EXSIX)cutters with wiper geometry.end users can directly use roughing and finishing cut with higher Depth of cuts and higher width of cuts.
We introduced High feed cutters for profile roughing with high depth of cuts(3 MM & 5 MM)and feed rate can be achieved up to 5000 to 7000 mm/mm.
These new development has reduced cycle time drastically and saved huge amount of Machines Hours,also this has helped our end user customer to reduce time of their Die and Moulds.

Provide details about the key features or aspects of the innovation. How does it stand out from existing solutions or practices? (100 Words)

Many of our end user were using Ball nose cutters or insert type of ball nose cutters for profile finishing, we introduced FRM type of corner radius type cutters which less contact area with the surface but removes the same amount of material for finishing in give time,there no material left for cutting,so recut is saved and due to center point not cutting good finish is generated.
We introduced wiper edge cutters for roughing operations with higher depth and width of cut can be taken due to which cycle time is reduced,ultimately effecting the reduced machine hours and increasing the profit margins.

As a Dijet our concept of new tool/products development is cycle of New Machining Procedures=>High Speed and Highly efficient machining=> High Speed and high precision Machining with 85+years Research and Development of experience and very good R & D facility experience Metallurgist and cutting tool specialist,we produce 100% products in japan under one roof and which helps us to control the quality of our product Dijet has own technology of carbide powder mixing plant and coating plant along with sintering processes,we develop even the substrate material to manufacture our range of cutting tools.

What measurable impact has the innovation had on the organization, industry, or community? (Include quantitative data if available) (100 Words)

This high-quality tools and processes have improved the quality of Die and Mould in terms of financing, coasting and shorten the delivery of finish goods,we can very well compete with European / American or Japanese tool manufactures. Very soon we as a India will be recognize as a “Good Quality Tool Maker”.

Have there been any notable positive outcomes or benefits resulting from the innovation? (e.g., increased efficiency, cost savings, improved user experience) (100 Words)

Due to introduction of high efficient cutting tools at some of our customer end we could increase the productivity drastically, which saved huge amount of Money of our end users customers.
