Cermet Turning Grades: These grades are suitable for finish machining under wet or dry conditions of continuous or mild interrupted cuts:
- DT1015U: Ideal for fine finishing of engineering steels, especially bearing steels.
- DT1015C: First choice cermet grade for finishing to fine finishing of steels with continuous cutting.

2. Latest milling cutter – Octa Force – More Benefits, More Machining
Octa Force (MHRM), an 88° approach angle powerful milling cutter that removes up to 6mm material in rough face milling of various Cast Iron materials while providing standard economics through its 8-edge SNMZ insert.
In one of the improvement activities, the cut time was reduced from 7.3 sec to 5.7 sec/part by improving the feed rate. DMP3030K grade insert further supported tool life improvement by 300%, leading to a savings of Rs 1.2 Lakh annually.

A rigid drill body, dedicated MDXT insert geometry, and advanced chip control ensure stable cutting and consistent hole quality, even in interrupted conditions. Grades DMP2030P for steel, DMP5030M for stainless steel, and DMP3030K for cast iron make MXD a truly versatile solution. In a real-world application on E350–E460 material, tool life improved by 43% from 175 to 250 parts per tool with no change to cutting parameters, delivering fewer tool changes and lower cost per part.

This high-efficiency indexable endmill delivers low cutting resistance and exceptional stability, with an integrated dual contact shank providing higher rigidity and superior power transmission even on compact machines while supporting ramping, helical milling, plunge drilling, grooving, and cross-feed machining.
In a slot machining operation on Aluminium (A2017), the FCR type machined a 15 mm deep slot with excellent surface finish and no secondary finishing required – achieving up to 7x higher cutting efficiency compared to conventional carbide tools, while maintaining stable performance under demanding conditions.
